Your privacy

Pete's Place, 23A High Street, Sai Ying Pun, runs this website. This page says what it collects about you, why, and how to ask us about it. Last updated 1 October 2026.

Visits to the site

We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are and what device they use, and which buttons they press, such as ordering for pickup, WhatsApp, calling or directions. When we advertise on Facebook or Instagram, Meta Pixel does the same so we can tell whether the ads work. Both use cookies. They tell us about visits in total, not who you are.

You can turn these cookies off in your browser's settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.

Your language choice (English, 粵 or 简) is saved on your own device, so the site remembers it next time.

Event enquiries

The "Enquire now" form asks for your name and, if you like, a phone number, date, number of guests, occasion and notes. You send them to us yourself by WhatsApp or email. A copy is also kept in our ordering system so we can reply even if the message never sends. We use these details only to answer your enquiry and plan your event, keep only the latest enquiries, and delete yours if you ask.

Ordering for pickup

Pickup orders are placed on pickup.petesplacehk.com, which takes your name and phone number to make the order and let you know when it's ready, and keeps your order history and any points against your number.

When you order, the ordering system also tells Meta about the sale, so we can see which of our ads bring in orders. It sends your phone number (and your email, if you gave one for a receipt) scrambled first, so Meta can only match it against its own records, never read it, along with the order's total and dishes.

Who else sees it

We don't sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing. They pass through the services that run the site for us: Google (analytics), Meta (ads and WhatsApp), Cloudflare (our ordering system) and our email provider.

Asking about your details

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp 5496 9406.
